International Photographic Council Announces Board of Directors for 2018

The International Photographic Council is pleased to announce the election of Mr. Michael Hanline to its existing board of directors.
Mr. Michael Hanline

Mike Hanline pioneered the digital revolution in the Professional Lab industry by growing a small local lab in Minnesota into the largest professional lab in North America. Mike was born to a portrait photographer and photographic artist, yet grew up in the lab industry. When his parents sold the studio in the mid 1950s, Mike went to work in the emerging lab industry. Mike serves on a number of industry advisory boards and non-profit charity boards. He has also been a member of the PPA Board of Director since 2016. Mike was the recipient of PPA’s Vendor of the Year Award in 2012 and in 2015 Mike and his wife Diana received PPA’s Buddy M. Stewart Award. Mike has worked with hundreds of photographers over the years and has built many, many long-standing friendships.

“I admire the work of the International Photographic Council and have been fortunate to attend several of their functions over the years” says Mike Hanline. “I’m honored to be asked to serve its mission and very much look forward to working with the other dedicated individuals on the board.”
